Post Ides and March Day Battle
Mar 16 2011
Hello Florida Fighters, I just wanted to send out a quick notification regarding future day battles and events to give you a heads up on some possible important changes.
However before I do that I want to thank all of the Florida fighters who were able to attend Ides of March in Georgia. I'm happy to see that we continuously represent Florida in the north and hope to see our numbers grow as we bring more and more southern fighters to large northern events.
Secondly, I wanted to comment on how successful the February day battle was. During our battle at Gemini springs we successfully fielded over 35 fighters. This means we're growing at a very rapid pace. I expect if we continue to grow at this rate we'll easily pass 50, and then 100 fighters at our day battles. I hope to continue to see all of you at future day battles and appreciate those who have consistently attended since the beginning. I've always said that some things start out slow, but as you can see it's beginning to pay off so keep it up and let your friends know about Florida's awesome central day battles.
Finally, in regards to the day battle scheduling: we're scheduled to have a Day Battle on March 26th but I have been considering rescheduling it to April as Jade mentioned she is considering hosting an April day battle which would include hot dogs and grilled goods. My other reason is that I'm not entirely sure we've pushed a March event enough in advance to adequately host a day battle. It was to my understanding that we would cancel the March day battle because of Ides of March but I realize that there is a battle on our schedule. Of course this is entirely my speculation and might not be true at all. If you would like to discuss this, there's a topic in the FFA forums regarding the issue.
Also remember we have a MASSIVE battle coming up in May called Oceanside Onslaught. Mark your calendars for May 28th for a great battle on the beach.
As usual, if you have any questions please feel free to message me or even call me.
