January Day Battle! (Frostbane)

Florida Foam Fighters sponsored day battle. We will be using the Dagorhir ruleset. So ready your weapons for Florida's January day battle. We will be running the event during the day only and leaving when the event ends.

The event is located at the practice field in the rear of the park. Once you enter Gemini Springs turn left and keep going down to the field just before the exit.

There will be a $3 FEE for the event and UNLIMITED HOT DOGS AND GATORADE! SUPER CHEAP LUNCH!

Event Schedule
8:00AM - 9:30AM = weapons checks
9:30 - 10:00 = Armor up and gear up, etc

10:00 - 11:00 = 3 to a tree, capture the flag, kill the king (warmup games)

11:15 - 12:30 = big unit battles, everyone stays in their own unit and we use ronin's to fill in the gaps and make teams close to even

12:30 - 1:30 = lunch time, hot dogs and gatorade are provided with the event fees taken in

1:40- 2:30 = woods battle. 4 teams. all wear colored paracord necklaces. if you die you give away your necklace, go respawn, and are provided with a new necklace. if you kill someone, you take their necklace back to your point keeper and they record the point. one headband=1 point. team with most points is winner.

2:40 - 3:30 = epic bridge battles. as many as we can handle before tournaments.

3:45- 5:30 tournements and pick up battles...

The FFA asks that you observe minimum garb standards and weapon regulations found here: http://www.dagorhir.com/dagorhir/Rules.htm

Dagorhir weapon specs are required, and garb is encouraged. the weapon checker has final authority on whether he deems a weapon or shield safe or unsafe. if any non-checked or denied weapon or shield is wielded on the field you may be disbarred from the event and possible future events

Garb is absolutely required for tournament fighting.
